Comments:	My congregation just got back on July 4th. We had a marvelous time! This was my first year as a counselor and was blessed by the experience! I highly recommend the camp! Super job by all the directors, staff, counselors, and campers.

Comments:	What a great week Putnam County Youth Camp had at S.M.B.C. Thanks to Matt and John for putting together a great camp. We made new friends, great memories, grew spiritually and had FUN!! Thank you to the S.M.B.C. staff for all you did to make our week run so smoothly. There is no place closer to GOD than your camp. P.S. Especially the craft center!!!!! the pool is great and the canoeing is so fun!!!!!! You will regret not going to this camp!!!! they ALWAYS have good breakfast, lunch, and dinner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Eva works at 21st Century Christian. Come to see us. Bobby and Patty Adair live and work in Gatlinburg. I saw Bobby at Lakeshore. His precious mother is their, as my aunt lives there too. I love it! between classes, swimming,horse back riding,and crafts it alsome not including sports,freetime,and the food This camp is the best camp ive ever been to and hope to see yall this year! Oh and I love the songs yall sing i know them by heart and well some of them make me cry tears I need to cry its because my life is so messed up. Comments:	hey guys i go to camp with woodbury and i cant wait until this summer i started coming 2 years ago and i loved it then and i love it now my cousin got me to come thanks to her i have a better summer!!lol if you never been you need to come because you have worship 2 times a day, freetime, a pool, food, and bible study with your cabin its better than sittin at home on your computer or watchin tv. trust me and just because you arent saved doesnt mean you cant come you might even get saved while your there!!

Comments:	I attended SMBC (formerly known as SMYC) in the sixties. I remember the plaque dedication to Dr. Adams. I remember Mom & Pop Brown. I also remember Missy, their dog. I remember the VIEWS... Spectacular even at age 10 or so. There was a cave about halfway between the kitchen/dining hall and the boys cabins on the left. It was a very small cave but still a welcome coolness on hot days. Can you still go in there? Do you still go up on the top of the "little" mountain (the fire tower is/was on it) for a picnic? How about the "overnight" at Center Hill Lake? The water there was crystal clear back then. You could see a hundred feet down in to it. It's not that way, now, I know. I attended every summer from the age that I could until the age that I couldn't. It was a very wonderful time of my life. I'm 57 now. Enjoy it. It is a rare and wonderful place and, regardless of the future direction of your life, you will NEVER forget the experience.

Comments:	i attended this camp from the age of 7 or 8 till the age of 18. i have to many good memories that i know will never go away. and i made even more that redefined my life the 5 years i worked up there. i hated to see it go; i hated that i split my ways. i have tried to go back but this place just doesn't have that warmth of home that it use to. i write this for you to read so that when your there you stop and take in everything that's around you. its not the 5 star rooms you sleep in, not the basket/volley/soft/base/football games; the horses or the pool that makes this camp awsome but the people. put aside the Worldly thinks and pick up God.

Comments:	I attended SMBC from around 1997 until 2004 with James Avenue Church of Christ and it holds a very special place in my heart as it does for most people who went year after year. I will never forget the memories I made on the mountain as a teenager and I will never forget the wonderful singing that took place there. I used to spend 51 one weeks a year anticipating going to camp. The memories of Short Mountain will always have a place in my heart.

I have had so many memories from camp that i will cherish for the rest of my life. I was baptized at smbc on July 27, 2006 at 12:45 in the morning. I will NEVER forget that night. Comments:	I just got home from SMBC White County/ Warren County week yesterday, and I already want to go back. It was my 5th year staying up there and I think every year it gets better and better. I first went when I was 10 and I have made so many memories and good friends since then. I missed camp last year, but after I got up there Sunday I realized that I had forgot just how much that mountain means to me. I already miss everyone so much, along with the lessons and the singing. Short Mountain truly is amazing and does so much for me. It is a placed touched by GOD and I am so thankful for the opportunity to attend camp each year. Thanks to Jerry and Penny, and all the wonderful Staff. You won't have to worry about me missing a year of camp any more!

Comments:	Going to Short Mountain was the highlight of my summer from 1979 through 1986. It was all my parents (David and Lynn Scott) could do to get us girls (my sister Sandy and later on younger sister Sarah) to eat Sunday lunch before we headed up to camp for the week. From "Oh what a goose I am" on the first night to skit night on Friday night, we were in heaven. My favorites were the chapel in the woods, hanging out at the barn and pretending to not be deathly afraid of the horses, picking out the infamous "etc." to paint in the craft house and hiking up the the tower - especially as a counselor surrounded by affectionate 9 year olds who all wanted to hold your hand. "Round the mess hall you must go" was also hilarious and hair-raising. I can't imagine not having all of those wonderful experiences and memories and I'm thrilled that new memories are being made each summer. Have fun!

Comments:	I LOVED Short Mountain Bible Camp. I NEVER felt so close to the Lord in my whole life! And we had 14 pple (including me) baptised in that week.. I just think that it's so amazing how the Lord can make that of a huge impact on peoples lifes.. I met TONS of new friends at camp.. Including a very special and very close friend to me now, Jericha. It was so great to c her change her WHOLE look on life 4rm going to camp. She and my friend Keyarrah,Grant,and Kiley 4rm Ceder Lane got baptised. I'm looking forward to comeing next year even tough I'll be moving in August:(. THANKS SHORT MOUNTAIN FOR A GREAT WEEK!!!!!!

Comments:	Dear SMBC, I first want to start out by saying thanks to all the summer staff who keep all the things running. Then I want to thank Steve Lynn and his wonderful wife for all the work that they do in keeping it and giving each and everyone of us a fun time at camp.I then want to thank Mark Williams for the wondeful lesson he gave to us on, Thursday, July 19,2007 in the evening. I want to also thank him for allowing me to talk to him during the deck singing. I think that is what keeps us comming back is the wonderful deck singing. I love to be at SMBC!!! I want to be able to come back next year and the following years after that. Thank you all for what you all do. Thank the nurses and the staff for all the things that they do. Comments:	Back in the early and mid 60's, I use to come to Short Mountain Camp. At the time I was 10 years old. I went there 3 years in a row. During that time in my life I lived at Potters Orphange out of Bowling Green, Ky. I have some of the best memories from that time in my life, and the times I had at Short Mountain Camp. When I was 12 I was baptised in the in ground swimming pool. Loved waking up when the clouds were covering the mountain. Still to this day I love camping. In fact, my wife and I bouth 13 acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains just for camping with friends and family. Take care, and thank you so much for the memories. Hugh DeLury

Comments:	Yaaaaaaay, it's vacation time again at SMBC. The kids are packed and ready to go. This will be their 4th year in a row. They are not from Coffee County but have went that week since they started and have made friends that they look forward to seeing.They love the fellowship and the free-time with friends. The food is delicious and parents can come anytime & eat supper with their children [ we go on Wednesday night]. My son was baptized last year and is still proud of that decision, so am I. Thanks to SMBC.This is a great experience and the kids are guaranteed to get your money's worth. Wish I could go too, but have to work. Have fun, fun, fun and love the Lord doing it...See you soon .

Comments:	Hey guys. I've been thinking about being a counselor this summer for the Warren/White County week. Does anybody know who I would need to contact to find out if they need counselors? They called me last year to do it but I wasn't able to and I don't remember who it was that called me. I'm a student at Freed-Hardeman University and I'm taking summer classes this summer but it worked out just right where Warren/White County week is the week after my summer classes end. Anyway, I just wanted to make it known that I was interested in being a counselor if they need more counselors for that week. Thanks!

Comments:	I went to a camp in Indiana for several years, probably 5 or 6, and when my brother and I got too old for that week, he started going to another in northerwestern Ohio. I wasn't able to go that year, on account of being out of the country, but the next year I went for a few days. THen last year, I went to Short Mountain. I honestly don't know when I've felt more a part of everything than at SMBC. I enjoyed it immensly, and can't wait until next year. I'm trying to get my brother to come, as well, and maybe a few others!
