Retreats at Short Mountain Bible Camp

It's about 10:00 p.m. You, your family, and all your church friends are gathered around the campfire. Looking up the sky is clear showing what appears to be millions stars. All is quiet except for the cool spring breeze passing through the trees and the crackling of the fire. Looking off to your left you can see the lights of homes and communities for miles away shine in the darkness. All your problems and worries have been left back at home while on this perfect night you sit by this fire and someone begins to sing. Everyone joins and it sounds so beautiful. This is what a retreat is all about. You leave everything behind and spend a perfect weekend drawing closer to your friends, your family, and most importantly God.
